WTB: Taller-necked Riser Ultimate Salt Gimmick

Postby Lou Leventhal » August 23rd, 2008, 12:41 pm

I am looking for the taller-necked version of the Riser Ultimate Salt Gimmick. Not the Benson gimmick, not the older Riser Ultimate with the shorter neck (I already own 3 of these).

No, Jim Riser does not have any of these in stock.

see: http://www.jamesriser.com/Magic/DiscontinuedItems.html for what I'm looking for. I want the one on the web-page labeled Riser Ultimate Salt Gimmick.

Thanks for your help.

Still looking for the taller-necked version of the Riser Ultimate Salt Gimmick. Jeff sold me the older version that I wasn't looking for.

Anyone have this? http://www.jamesriser.com/Magic/DiscontinuedItems.html

Please, make sure that it has the longer neck as pictured.

Thanks!

Lou

Point of ignorance here:

Jim made long and short neck versions of his Ultimate Salt pour?

I know each one was spun individually, and he does lots of custom stuff, and he actively integrates improvements as he goes...but I didn't know he actively made multiple versions of that gimmick.

Really?

Erik

Hi Erik,

Yes, there were multiple versions of the Riser Ultimate Salt Pour Gimmick. This is not counting the Benson Gimmick, which came out later.

Many of us suggested to Jim that we would prefer a taller neck. The last version that he produced (listed on the website above) has the longer neck than the original Ultimate Salt Gimmick.
