A friend of mine has a fair copy of Card Conjuring (Hard Cover -- Blue) It used to belong to little Jimmy Stoppard.
I have no idea how much it is worth.
Any help or interest?

Re: Hofzinser's Card Conjuring
George, you've failed to note the most important thing about the book: is it the first 1931 edition published by George Armstrong in London, or the second edition published by Karl Fulves in the 1970s? The latter edition has a color plate of some of Hofzinser's cards. The different editions have greatly different values!

Oops! :o
Blue Cover, 7x41/2 inches, published by George Johnson, London, 1931.
It has had four owners, thre of which have put their names inside the front cover:
1. Rajah Keppler, Magician ("$5.25 Post Paid")
2. Purchased from him by Don Greenwood at Hamilton, Ohio, August12 - 1935.
3. Jimmy Stoppard
Hope this helps.

I would suggest giving John Greget or George Daily a call and asking them. $700 might not be out of line, but I really can't say.
