Kellar's Self-Decapitation

Postby Richard Stokes » March 26th, 2017, 10:08 am

Is there an explanation of Kellar's Self-Decapitation Mystery in print?

I've read that J. Steinmeyer recreated the illusion at the 2015 LA Magic History Conference.

Thanks for any guidance on this.

Based on the Kellar poster of this effect, and the technology available back then, it looks like black art to me.

Steinmeyer did recreate it at the last LA History Conference. It's a version of The Blue Room illusion. There is no black art.
