What does this mean?

Kaufman, Richard & Greenberg, Alan - Greater Magic Expurgated Edition. One of 50 copies of the blank reprint of Hilliard's master work. Like Carl Waring Jones' original, this volume is blank except for the first 32 pages.

A special limited edition of the original work was printed with most of the pages blank after the first 50 (the "Expurgated Edition").

When Kaufman & Greenberg reprinted Greater Magic, they chose to honor the original by printing a special limited edition with blank pages after the first 50.

One of my friends who works in finance published a book under a pseudonym a couple years ago called:

Everything Bankers have Learned from the Financial Crisis: Collected wisdoms since the Financial Apocalypse (Volume 1)

https://www.amazon.com/Everything-Banke ... 782&sr=1-1

All the pages of the book are blank!

Carl Jones printed his expurgated edition so he could give the book away to his non-magic friends without also giving them the secrets. The first signature of 32 pages was printed. I did the same thing because I thought it would be fun.
