Got to meet the Genii staffers. Especially enjoyed spending some time with Mr. Goat, Dustin and Ian Kendall.

Saw a slew of old friends from Florida; Paul Cummins, Giovanni Livera, Wallace Murphy, J.C. Hiatt, Terry Ward, Ed McGowan and Doc.

Even a few of my pals from the west coast showed up.

The shows rocked, the lectures were superb.

I've run a convention for years. I have to say Richard and company did everything right.

This may be the first convention hotel to have more missing silverware than towels. I even saw more than a few bent magicians in the bar last night.

Argh! Kent and Andrew, why didn't you come up and introduce yourselves!

This was my first convention after being obsessed with magic for nearly 40 years. I cannot imagine a better event - the location was great, the artists were fantastic, and the swag was unbelievable.

Thanks to everyone involved - Richard and his team knocked it out of the park.

Rob Zebrecky, Charlie Frye and Juan Tamariz were worth the price of admission alone so the rest was just bonus entertainment!

I am compelled to add my comments here now that I've just barely recovered from the marathon.

This was my 2nd magic convention and am now truly afraid to attend any others. The bar has been set high.

I was impressed with this event from my arrival. The venue was great, the Genii staff was simply perfect: friendly, approachable, understanding, helpful.

The lectures, the shows, the give-aways... all truly memorable.

I signed up to go to see Mr. Tamariz, as I'm sure many others did as well, but the chance to see all the other acts of people I never imagined getting to see live... well, I'm still dumbfounded by some of what I saw and heard and experienced.

Finally, I was repeatedly struck by the talented professionals who were there just to be in the audience - folks who could have just as easily been on the stage with their peers with no questions asked. Everyone was approachable (well nearly everyone), and gracious, and kind. (A special thanks to Mr. Ian Kendall Smith for being so generous with his time. Another special thanks to Real Secrets for some good times Saturday night).

This was a truly professional experience and will always be held as one of the highlights of my life.

The best big convention I've ever been to. It was great to see all the preparation and planning pay off. I was badly fooled several times and that makes going all the more worthwhile. Still trying to make up for sleep deficit.

Never again will I listen to Thelonious Monk's solo recording of "Dinah" the same.

Wish I got to meet Bob Farmer. No, he's probably better off.

In the afterglow, it becomes misty like a dream. Such a time it was . . .
