The call came about 2 weeks ago, tha lady was calling from the UK, and the line was not very clear. Would I be available to peform on the 26th for Chips' 7th birthday party? My pleasure, I said. Duly arrived on time.............turns out the show was indeed for Chips' birthday, who was turning 70!
Anyone else ever pitched up for a booking and things were not all that it seemed?
