Does anyone have any information on the origination of "Visible Painting" or "Visible Color Painting" (as indicated in Hank Lee's catalog).
Curious about the background of this piece and cannot seem to locate any information in the usual places.
Any help would be appreciated.

Visible Painting History?
Re: Visible Painting History?
I think it was Jim Breedon put it out in this form first via Repro magic in England, then it soon got ripped off. Geoff Maltby would know, I'm pretty sure they were the first to sell it. I would put it sometime in the late seventies.
The principle itself goes back much further, but not in a form used by childrens entertainers.
Paul.

This effect is sometimes used as a "Free Magic Trick!!" inserted into grocery products.
