Al Wheatley aka Chop Chop

Postby Mike Rose » December 19th, 2001, 9:53 pm

I'm doing research on Al Wheatley for an upcoming book. Wheatley performed as "Chop Chop" and is most remembered for his invention of the Chop Cup. He also performed as "Tung Pin Soo" prior to becoming Chop
Chop (and as "Ching Ling Fu" for a short time before that). Any information would be appreciated. I'm especially looking for people who knew him or saw him perform. (Wheatley died in 1964).

Thanks,
Mike Rose

Tony Spina from Tannen's could probably help you... if he answers your e-mail.
