I digitized Don Alan's performance on the reunion show of "That's Incredible" and had it up on a website for awhile. That site went down, so now it's up here:

Jeff,
I'm really glad you are reposting this . I had noticed that the old link had vanished (I had it bookmarked) and I was very sorry that the clip was no longer available.
However, I've tried a few times tonight to access that new page , but it won't open . Just F.Y.I.

I tried it again with a different browser (Mozilla) and it opened fine . For some reason the page got hung up and never loaded using Safari . (Sent the bug report to Apple this morning.)
Thanks again for posting this clip !

Re: Don Alan clip is back up
I am very grateful for the Don Alan clip. Several years ago I purchased Jon Racherbaumer's book on Don Alan "In A Class Of His Own" and have loved the description of his chop cup routine.
Now I see the power of his timing and handling of the specs (albeit they were celebs). Makes me wish I had been more magic savvy during the years I lived in Chicago so I could have seen Don in person.
Oh well, it's another vote for preserving our heritage one video, film, audio tape at a time.
Thanks.

Thanks. Nice to see the Maestro with the Chop Cup... what a perfect, quick, killer routine.
Stay tooned.

Re: Don Alan clip is back up
I am lucky enough to have a video tape of the performance. As I remember the ball did not appear as expected and Don not missing a beat picked up the invisible ball and quickly recovered. Sign of a true professional. I was pretty disappointed with the book. But that is another story.
Worthiness is measured not by how much you chatter, but by how much you help another.
