Historians' Guide to Conjuring

Hi folks:

I'm new to the forum. A nice place to browse. Some of you may know that years ago I compiled a book on histories, biographies and bibliographies, published in 1981 as the Historians' Guide to Conjuring.

I'm working on a second edition which will easily exceed 1000 pages when done. (don't worry, Richard, that's it as far as a plug goes in this non-commercial forum).

I'd like to pose the following questions to the readers:

Do any of you own an early edition of Kellar's A Magician's Tour?

Do any of you own a copy of Charles Bertram's A Magician in Many Lands in a dust jacket?

Do any of you own a copy of Carlton's Twenty Years of Spoof and Bluff in a dust jacket?

Do any of you own a copy of Signor Blitz's Fifty Yerars in the Magic Circle with all edges gilt in gold or bound in original publisher's leather?

I'm doing research on these titles for upcoming issues of the second edition and would appreciate hearing descriptions of copies of the foregoing books which you own.

Thanks in advance!

For those who love Pink Floyd: "is anybody out there?"

Hi, Clay!
nice to see you here! I read your original post some time ago, but I didn't reply as I don't have any of the books you're looking for :(

Hope you keep well, all the best, ciao!

I had all of those titles: that is until I woke up from the dream (comfortably numb).

Good luck on your search, Clay. And we look forward to your new edition!

Without or without these tiles, The Show Must Go On.

Thanks for the good wishes, Marco and Dustin, and your knowledge of Floyd, Dustin.

Yes, RoatC, you are correct. But what's a show without a few good books? :D
