Does anyone know the start & end dates of Victor Farelli's "Paris Notes" column in "The Sphinx"?
Also, birth & death dates for Farelli would be useful.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Re: Victor Farelli's "Paris Notes"
from Bart Whaley's WHO'S WHO IN MAGIC:
Farelli, Victor
(Dublin, Ireland: 22 Dec 1888-12 May 1955) Stage name of Victor Michael Farrelly [sic]. His parents were Scots. Learned as student of David Devant. Expert pro cardman & close-up magician. Probably invented the close-up case (years before 1939). Retired in 1939.
Translated Odin's Les Anneaux Chinois as The Odin Rings (1931, 68pp). Wrote The Master Speller (1930), Farelli's Card Magic (2 vols, 1933; 3rd ed 1934, 54pp) with French tr by Gaultier as La Magie des cartes (2 vols, 1937); Convincing Coin Magic (1946, 91pp); Thanks to Leipzig! (1948, 53pp); 3 booklets on routines of John Ramsay (see); & Magical Bibliographies: A Guide (1953, 28pp). Tricks in HMM. NOTE: Real surname has been misspelled "Farelly" & year of birth misgiven as "1898". [St]
