Michael Close Lectures in the UK

Postby Michael Close » October 3rd, 2005, 5:34 am

Lisa and I had a fine time at the British Ring Convention in Southport. We're now beginning a brief tour of the UK. You can find the lecture dates and the contact names here:

http://www.michaelclose.com/lecture.html

(There is one more date, Edinburgh - October 17, that is not on the site. We'll get that info updated very soon.)

We've managed to bring along all the AV gear we need to do the same PowerPoint lecture we gave in the states. Hope to see you at one of the these lectures.

Best

I don't intend to miss your lecture at WAM (Watford Association of Magicians), Michael.

Watford? The home of Neddie Seagoone (AKA Terrance Seabrooke) not to mention Tim Shoesmith. And Elton's football club... Wow!

Tell Seabrooke to bring a couple of tubes of Aruldite epoxy. :D
Stay tooned.

Sorry that the Manchester lecture got cancelled. Friends visiting meant I couldn't get over to Liverpool this evening.

Saw Terry at WAM last night, and reminded him about the Araldite. He said that it was a good thing that he'd been reminded, else he'd have forgotten.

Surprised to learn that you can't get Araldite in the US. I just assumed that one could buy it anywhere.

Great lecture at The Magic Circle on Monday (although sadly abbreviated by our timing rules). I highly recommend that any Scots who can get to the lectures in Glasgow and Edinburgh on Sunday/Monday.

I saw Michael's lecture at the British Ring Convention in Southport at the start of October and I, for one, cannot wait to sit and watch the full version in Glasgow on Sunday.

If you get the chance to see his lecture - take it!

Best wishes

Peter
