Simon, come out to L.A. We have better weather than you will find at 5082 N. Lincoln! Last time I lectured there it was snowing horizontally!

It'll be 79-degrres F. here this weekend.

Mike Close has a GREAT handling of your latest "Sideswiped," which he used to NAIL the big boys with during the WMS last week.

Thanks Pete. The only advantage of the below zero weather here is that it's easier to introduce a cold deck.

Just want to mention that the only thing I have added to Side-Swiped is a small change in handling that is more suitable for stand-up performance.

If the "Big Boys" were fooled it is because of Simon's ingenuity, not mine.

I hope that those in the Chicago area took advantage of Simon's lecture. He truly is one of the top thinkers in magic.

Simon,

I love your work and I have devoured your books. I've even trained my wife to quiz me with random numbers and I have to give the card at that position. Fun stuff at family get-togethers!

Please come out to the east coast to lecture!! :)

Jeff

Dear Simon, I would have loved to have been at your lecture but unfortunately I live in Sydney Australia!!!! can I take this oportunity of thanking you for your books on our subject. Your ideas with the stacked deck have opened up new doors for me and have made me think about the subtle points of card magic, a quality that I think is lacking a bit in the field today.

could we in the Southern hemosphere ever persuade you to do a lecture here? I have been on at my friend David Parr to make the trip perhaps I can convince other Chicago magicians aswell.

I am gratefull for the opportunity of almost speaking to you in person.

Dean Atkinson.

Simon:

I loved the lecture. You gave us not only great effects but great theory to work additional effects. I was surprised that you gave away so much good material.

For you guys and gals in California, it was a warm 22 degrees at the time of the lecture but indoors it had to be over 40 degrees.

I have been working with your Red See Passover and still fool myself. Very good work!

I will have a review on my site tonight along with the thousands pictures I took (or maybe the three that came out).
