I got the email from Theory 11 with the download info for the PDF.

This is great! Now I don't feel guilty about owning DD. I now I will use it more often.

Perhaps the review by David Regal in Genii, and the spotlight it created, helped the folks involved see the light.

Now that a resolution has been reached, I'm curious about the Digital Dissolve gimmick, itself. I realize they're being made by Jamie Schoolcraft. Is this a high quality item that could be used for other effects?
I don't already have a version of the gimmick in question and would like to know a little more about it before making a purchase.

uhh...not to rain on Genii's parade, but the review served as a final nail, but a lot of the work was already set in motion by people like Joshua Barrett on the Cafe forums.

Before the review, DD had already been pulled and DeSouza was talking to T11 on behalf of Duscheck. The main thing that the review accomplished was verifying that it was a serious issue to those few holdouts that kept saying it was a bunch of uninformed posters spreading hearsay.

It was good to have it in print, for future reference, but I think Regal would agree that everything was already in motion.

Glad this was resolved!!! My only complaint NOW is their video demo's are loaded with MTV type stuff and cuts that have NOTHING to do with the magic.
Stay tooned.

Pete, dude, like, get down with it, bro! It's the times, man!

BTW, the Schoolcraft gimmick is really quite decent for the price, and now you also get Steve D's handling...

C'mon Pete, just put on some eye make up and in a monotone semi comatose sounding voice say.... "Wanna see something really weird"!

Yeah, Pete. Don't go yet. You don't have to buy those DVD's anyway. They should be paying you just to look at their web site.

Just to show you I'm serious, you have an official lifetime subscription to the Cups and Balls Museum!

WOW Pete, Bill said I'd have to mow his lawn every week just to look at pictures of the museum!
