Ricky Jay - Kennedy Center Honors

Anyone else happen to see Ricky Jay on the Kennedy Center Honors last night? I wish I had TIVO'd this program. Mr. Jay appeared in a wonderful segment honoring Steve Martin. I'm not sure but the routine he performed is remaniscent of somthing from the Cliff Green's book "Professional Card Magic", Richard Kaufman's "Card Magic" or perhaps a Ross Bertram routine?
