Sheridan Square

On the # 2 line of the NYC subway, there is a stop called Christopher Street/Sheridan Square.
Any relation to Jeff Sheridan?

That's General Sheridan, the fiercest back-palmer in the Civil war.

Jeff Sheridan has performed in many streets and squares, but Sheridan Square is not among them. There is a magic shop only a few blocks from there. Hocus Pocus, unless it's gone by now. Who knows?

I like Jeff Sheridan, and deeply respect his work. But I really wish he could have written about something other than the quality of playing cards. (A topic already written about on any number of message boards, by any number of magicians.) Surely he has more to offer!

I think you mean Abracadabra, which has moved but still exists.
