Cardini Decks Now Available

Postby Richard Kaufman » February 9th, 2018, 12:09 pm

A joint project between Art of Play and Pitchford Entertainment, Media, and Magic, only 2,500 beautiful replicas (in poker size) of Cardini's cards have been reproduced and are available here for only $15 a deck.

Already sold out.

The reproduction's picture looks to be a linen/air cushion stock. Weren't the originals smooth?

Geez... I had a couple of decks in my cart and spent 10 minutes looking to see if I wanted something else on the site. When I proceeded to checkout they were already sold out.

i just bought 14 dozen packs of bikes from Sam's club at less than 13 bucks per dozen.

They are currently on sale.

Not the same, but as the others are sold out this may prove a small consolation for those who missed out.

Someone will probably be selling them for $30 or more.

Damn--I bought two of them last night immediately after that Art of Play ad for this deck showed up in my e-mail inbox.

Whew!

I've been getting Bikes at Costco for years. They were $13.50/doz last time I picked them up here in the San Jose.

Wow! That's a whole lot of money (2,500 x $15) changing hands in the span of a few hours.

Maybe RK should start the Genii Playing Card Corporation. I'd buy some cards with the classic Magicana logo on them. :)

I saw them at $60 with 4.50 shipping. Heard that someone bought a large amount. If so, that's too bad the seller didn't have a deck limit of some sort. At $60 he may be sitting on them a while.

The current situation with specialized decks of cards reminds me a little of the comic book speculation boom of the 80's. I had friends who got stuck with garages full of books they eventually couldn't even give away.
