Bob Dylan. Images and impressions conjured by the mere sight of this artist's name speak to his near-miraculous impact on modern culture. I happen to be one huge fan... so imagine my surprise, upon cracking open his latest "Bootleg Series" release, to find liner notes written by our very own Penn Jillette. Brilliant, sensitive, insightful notes on Bob's gospel period(!)
Worth a close read for fans of either man. (And the tunes - live performances circa '79-'81 - aren't half-bad either!)

Penn is a huge Bob Dylan fan. He can hardly go a single podcast (Penn's Sunday School) without referencing Dylan.
