"FISM - first and last in our life time"

Postby CraigMitchell » October 31st, 2017, 11:07 am

It's amateur hour all over again.

Those in charge have zero clue on international marketing. All done to what sounds like a throwback to the 1980's

FISM Busan is in disarray behind the scenes ... frantic replacement of organisers ... no announcement of international performers ... and the last facebook post was in April 2016. Add to that their disasterous online registration, zero communication or status updates - and we have yet another looming organisational mess on our hands.

With less than 9 months to go, Casa is going to have his hands full in righting the ship.

Craig, it is perfectly possible to book and throw a large convention in nine months.

Why don't you give the new organizers some time to get things rolling before blasting away?

Things should not have to devolve to crisis stakes before the cavalry get called In to rescue things 9 months before a major international event because those tasked with oversight in the first place have clearly not done their jobs.

As someone who "volunteered" during FISM Asia in 2014, which took place in Korea, I don't really have anything nice to say about their competence. That being said, I can't make specific criticisms because I'll get burned the moment I go back home. Politics...

I was a bit stunned at how hard it was to try to register, but I still have hopes that FISM in Busan will be great.

I don't see anything wrong with their music video competition. It looks like something fun.

However, the lack of updates has kinda been a bit unnerving.

Still wishing the organizers the best!
