This Week's Big Magic News in The UK

Postby AJM » October 22nd, 2017, 4:50 pm

Debbie McGee is through to Week 6 of BBC's Strictly Come Dancing and was the highest scorer in this week's show.

Other than that it has been a pretty quiet week here on the magic front.

Cheers

Andrew

Debbie scored a perfect score on Strickly Come Dancing UK. Four tens. As Richard says such a lovely beautiful person. Well deserved.

Indeed she did and has been voted through to Week 8.

Very well done indeed.

Growing up in London in the 80s and 90s was a wonderful time. The Paul Daniels Magic Show was at its height and Saturday night TV was all about Paul and Debbie for me!. I remember getting my first Paul Daniels Magic Set when i was about 6 and that was me hooked. I was fortunate to meet Paul a few times and Debbie once. Paul's passing was such a shock and i felt like i lost my hero. How Debbie is coping is wonderful and a joy to see!

Debbie now safely through to week 9 and next week's live show from Blackpool's famous Tower Ballroom.

Elsewhere, Erdnase remains unidentified.

Stay tuned...

Ooh, Debbie survives the dance off this week and makes it through to week 10 - very close though.

Meanwhile, Erdnase remains elusive...

Debbie now through to week 11 and the quarter-final.

In other news, a guy called Chris continues to be obnoxious on another thread.

The weather will be coming right up, after these messages...

Debbie one of the three runners-up unfortunately.

It took a Scotsman to beat her. (No, not me or Ronnie Performer)

12 or so weeks on a prime time show - can’t be bad...

I'm just back in Manchester from MC'ing The Magic Circle Christmas Show in London. Before boarding the train I did something I haven't done in years. I bought a newspaper - The Sunday Times.

Delighted to report there is three quarter page write-up on Debbie.
You can see the start of it here and need to check in to read the rest.
