In a rare recorded conversation, Armando Lucero talks about his philosophy on magic as an art and how we should respect the art and ourselves. For example, why do we denigrate ourselves and our art for the cheap laugh when we offhandedly say, “well, that was six years of my life,” or “yeah, I have no life.”? We never hear a concert master or vocalist apologize and say anything like that during their concerts.
This is one of my favorite episodes and even if you can’t take private lessons from Armando, then this may be as close as you can get to learn how to make your magic better. You can watch a brief video, see some candid photos, read the blog, listen to some product reviews, listen online to the podcast, and download the MP3 file at: https://www.themagicwordpodcast.com/sco ... ndo-lucero
This week we also welcome Andrew Falk as the newest Friend of the Magic Word. Thank you, Andrew for you commitment to excellence with your financial contribution to our ongoing efforts to provide quality podcasts to magicians.
