Is the Florida Hotel being affected by the hurricane?

I wish all Floridians well in this difficult time.

Is the hotel located in the path of the storm?

Well, it's in Orlando. Should not be a problem, though.

Hello,

I live in Ft. Lauderdale and can tell you that these storms, while they are bad, are usually pretty contained in the area which they damage. I have had a lot of wind all day, lost power for a few hours, but nothing too bad. As a born and raised Florida native (3rd generation) I can't imagine that the hotel will have any problems.

Looking forward to seeing you all there for my third Genii and what I expect to be a great convention. Those who miss it, well, you can't say that you weren't advised.

Best,

I couldn't live in places like Texas and Florida. Apart from the danger of getting shot too many hurricanes for my liking. At least in Canada you only die from frostbite and hypothermia.
