Many of you attended the 2017 MAGIC Live convention and heard the scholarly Focus Session with Richard Hatch and Jason England who spoke about the mysterious author of "The Expert At The Card Table". Well, Jim Davey has just launched a crowdfunding campaign to help raise funds to pay for a documentary on the search for the real author. In this week's podcast, Jim talks about his work to date plus what he plans to do and who he would like to talk to and what he hopes to accomplish by producing this documentary. At the end of the podcast, we get an update on what "perks" he added to the Indiegogo campaign since our first conversation before the campaign began.
You can watch a "sizzle" trailer of the documentary, see some photos, get some links to the campaign, read the blog, listen online to the podcast, and download the MP3 file at: https://www.themagicwordpodcast.com/sco ... the-expert You can also subscribe and listen on iTunes, Stitcher, Tunein, Feedpress and many other platforms including your Amazon Echo. This project has some pretty authoritative names associated with it (heavyweights if you will)!
It certainly looks well thought out, and although it may not present anything particularly "new" about Erdnase, it certainly breaks new ground in the presentation of the information acquired by various sources to date brought together on film.
I most definitely look forward to it!

There is a new candidate, and a book is in the works about him. He's an interesting choice, but other than that I must remain mum.
