I'm curious to learn why several lots of Paul Fox related material were pulled from the auction (listed in the catalogs, but skipped and not shown in the online auction). The following 16 lots, for example: 30, 52, 76, 89, 94-96, 111, 119, 121, 398-402, 424. Lot 119 of Vernon letters to Fox would surely have fetched a big price. My guess is that the heirs of Paul Fox made an ownership claim on these items, but I'm just guessing.

Apparently it was an ownership claim since the letters and photos pulled from the auction were all addressed to Fox. The silhouettes were also cut by him. How they fell into Busby's hands is the real mystery.
