Well, it's a wrap. The ninth MAGIC Live! is part of the history books and Stan Allen has already slated the dates for next year, August 5-8, 2018, which will come quick on the heels of Abbott's Get Together which runs August 1-4. But to hear all of the final day fun and catch up with some of your friends like Marvyn Roy and John Archer, then give a listen to today's final daily convention update:

This was absolutely priceless ... "held hostage at the party"
Magic Conventions in Vegas are not intended to be outings from the retirement home ( although they are fast headed that way )

Re: 377: MAGIC Live! Day Four Podcast Update
Curious: Are these lecture notes? If so, why don't they just pass out the notes at the lectures that day?
(As a side note: I can kind of see both sides of this. I sympathize with the medical aspects of the story and the original poster was trying to do a good deed, and ideally should not have been hassled for it. However, how was security to know that the good Samaritan wasn't in reality just poaching some extra notes for his buddies back home or to sell on eBay?)

They are recaps of the day's events including some brief notes: a trick or two, highlights of the talks, and biographies of the presenters and performers. There is one glossy booklet of about 20-24 pages each of the four days.
The intent is to only hand them out after the events, keeping the surprise element when possible.
Your points are good; however, I can't offer a solution.
Smiles all around
