Dustin's news is crap compared to the news I heard, which I cannot divulge.

Don't count my post as one of the ten ... I have no idea what the other nine are referring to. My reference is, however, to something I've confirmed with a 100% reliable source, but it doesn't sound as earthshaking as what I'm feeling from from the other "teases" ... although I must admit that I am utterly awestruck by the fact that mine is (going to be) real in that Wayne's World "We're not worthy!" kind of way.

Well, I hope both projects are posted here one day so that I can judge for myself if it is of actual interest to me or just the hype marketing machine.

This reminds me of a thread on the Magic Café linking readers to a demo video of some Aldo Columbini trick where all that was shown was some cheering.

Bob Farmer's doing a book on the eleven card poker deal (it's the same book as before, he just keeps a 3 of spades in his shoe while doing the trick).

It may not be what Dustin has in mind, but the good news for those of us already missing Don Rickles is that he filmed a new series for AARP called Dinner with Don, in which he has dinner with current comics. You can catch a trailer here:

To make you dream...

Although it will end in disappointment. It is very unlikely that any of these two projects will live up to my imagination.

And apparently Act Two and Curtain Call as well.

Do you know about any non-mentalism Hermetic Press titles being reprinted?

Penguin decides what will be reprinted, and the only books they will reprint are (presumably) those for which there is a proven market.

They've brought out new editions of Secrets of a Puerto Rican Gambler and For Your Entertainment Pleasure.

At the risk of getting my hopes up way too high, and casting absolutely no aspersions whatsoever on our phenomenal authors and publishers nor on my own selfish desire to see more excellent new magic books and updated reprints of long out-of-print magic books released, but I'm hoping that whatever this news is when finally revealed is something a bit bigger than an announcement of (only) a magic book.

Right, but Richardson's Theater of the Mind has been bringing higher prices than either Act Two or Curtain Call. So they're interesting choices.

I was asking about non-mentalism titles because I learned about Prism and the Richardsons through a mentalism newsletter that was focusing on its own subject area, and wondered if there were others as well.

I don't know if they plan on it, but I hope Penguin will keep separate branding for the Hermetic Press.

I really wish they would reprint The Georgia Wonder book by Barry Wiley.

Let's see...

    - Hans Klok putting the final touches on his opus magnum, "An Encyclopedia of Hair Blowers in Magic," which will surely take the world of illusionists by storm?

    - Or Criss Angel starring in Las Vegas again as of spring 2018, in Cirque du Pissoir's latest sprinkling magic revue extraordinaire, "reLIEve"?

Oh, the excitement!

Many folks are looking forward to it becoming available.
