I don't think that's the case. All but one of the ideas I've got for it during the last two years have fallen on the fact that the material can't be touched in any way. It doesn't stand any kind of abrasion. Nothing can be slid over it. Can't be palmed. Can't be handled for transport. Can't brush dust off it.
That puts a dent in the creativity. And the sole working idea I've got isn't even particulary good.

Surrey NanoSystems' non-nanotube version is (according to the first video I linked) much more handling-tolerant. I suppose at some point we'll see...
