Richard Hatch, THE ONE FROM BATTLESTAR GALACTICA, has died. Glad it wasn't "our" Richard Hatch.
It's gotta be disconcerting to see your own name in an obituary.

Re: Richard Hatch
Considering how many "Richard Kaufman"s there are, I'm hoping to be the last, not the first!

Fortunately for RK, the Bible (and Dylan) both tell us that the first shall be last.

Re: Richard Hatch
I saw this subject line and my heart just sank.
I'm not happy the actor passed away, but I'm glad it's not "our" Dick Hatch (who is one of the really good guys in magic).

Re: Richard Hatch
Thanks for the kind thoughts!
During my senior year in College (1976) I convinced a coed freshman on my floor that I was the actor Richard Hatch and did my television work (having just replaced Michael Douglas on "Streets of San Francisco") during summer break. This was pre-internet, and would never have worked now! Alas, she developed a starstruck crush on me and I had to burst that bubble before she became a stalker. I felt bad about that, but good about not having abused her misplaced adoration! Lesson learned...
My goal is to outlive the "Survivor" Richard Hatch. So far, so good...

What is uncanny and never ceases to amaze me , in reading the Obituary column, is that people always seem to die in alphabetical order!

So the goal is to out-survive the Survivor Richard Hatch ... hmmm.

Re: Richard Hatch
By the time I graduated college (1968), the phrase "a coed freshman on my floor " had never been uttered by anyone. It was a distant dream.

So you've been a "deceptionist" for 40 years.

Re: Richard Hatch
I am delighted to find that the headline was just annoying clickbait. What an unpleasant experience this thread was.
