Anyone who has not known someone with this disease will eventually know someone who has been affected by this disease.

If you've never seen the Glen Campbell documentary, I recommend it highly:

To further this, I should have said the same, Mark. The very beginning of my interest in magic is as a direct result of TV Magic Cards. I remember the commercials, I remember pestering my mother until she eventually relented in going to K&B Drugstore in New Orleans to buy it for me.

That's when the seed was sown.

Very sad news.

At the tender age of 13, Marshall's TV Magic Set ignited my enduring obsession with magic.

John's link to the Glen Campbell documentary is really worth watching. It's a horrible disease.

Heartbreaking, but I'm also inspired by Ms. Doyle's loving devotion.

Donate to Alzheimer's research. If you don't get the disease yourself, several people you know will. I've already lost several friends to this insidious killer, and will no doubt lose more over the next 20 years, perhaps even myself.

Research is the only answer.
