Help Needed for LJ Trick

Postby Richard Kaufman » March 1st, 2016, 9:32 pm

Well, the good news is that Mr. Jennings Takes It Easy, Volume 1, may be coming out much earlier than I expected.

Other news: I am greatly in need of a copy of Al Smith’s trick “Kings and Witch”(see p.4 of Smith’s book Cards at Bay). A scan of that trick would be greatly appreciated and it can be sent to me at moobooks@verizon.net.

Volume 1? Are you splitting the book in some way? If the current (complete) manuscript is as huge as you've previously mentioned, that seems like a very smart way to get the material out there sooner. I would honestly prefer two normal size books to one huge unwieldy one.

It's very exciting to think that we'll see a new Jennings book soon.

I might be able to assist with this matter.
I would have sent an email, but I haven't a clue how to do it.
Oh well.

It took me years to find a place to split the book (I know that sounds daffy, but sometimes you're so far in the weeds that you miss the bigger picture.) It required adding a chapter to the second volume.

I would have emailed you, Mr. Smith, but I don't have your email addy.

No problem.
I don't have your email address either, otherwise I'd have been there. :)

Incidentally, I take it that you have resolved the situation. Though I remain curious.
And before any wags jump in, yes, I've been curious all my life. :D
