All Cervon projects are thought to be dead in the water. To the best of my knowledge his wife, Linda, still has the video cassettes.

John, I think you're referring to the copy of Castle Notebooks 1, 2, 3 (all of which appear in volume 1 of the book set as sold) that were sold in the Jennings auction. These were merely photocopies that Bruce made for Larry. All in print in the printed volume 1 of the book.

While slow, the 'video notebook' project is very much alive.

Does anyone know what became of those video cassettes?

My understanding was that Jim Patton was transcribing them.

Jim was a great guy, but a big procrastinator. I would doubt he made much progress.

You can't just transcribe a videotape: you have to write the tricks up as you go along.

If the project is still going, that's a good thing. Let's hope they don't make a mess of it. Some of Cervon's material is excellent (mostly the stuff he never published).

Back in June 2011, Jim told me who was negotiating for the rights to the tapes. Heard nothing else.
