Yep, both Alexander and CARC's sites are down (and also the other addresses that map to the same IP used by Kalush's domains).

Internal problems, or hacked by hostile external forces?

Anybody know?

Ah, just saw this.

NOTICE: We are currently (6/29/2015) experiencing a very serious and unexpected hardware issue on our servers that we are in the process of fixing now. We expect to have the problem resolved in 24-48 hours. However, during this period, you will not be able to download books from our site. Sorry for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience!

Ask Alexander seems accessible now.

And we're back.

The site experienced a heart-stopping hardware failure early Sunday morning. For the techies: RAID-5, 4 disc, simultaneous 2 disc failure. The sites are back. Please report any problems you encounter.

Best,
Dan
