#215: Brad Henderson, the Esoteric Escamoteur - Part One

Postby Scott Wells » March 19th, 2015, 10:23 am

Brad Henderson and I have been long-time friends but rarely had the time to sit down and talk about magic. Most of our conversations have focused on magic but they have been...well, lighter. This chat is heavy. And if fact, may be overlooked by some as "too theoretical" but to those I say, "listen on."

Brad is a deep thinker in magic and knows what he's talking about based on experience and a broad background of comparison, weighing the good and the bad. And he pulls no punches when he espouses his beliefs. In this chat (nay, rather, in this mini-lecture), Brad talks about magic as art and how our audience should experience our performances as art. Along the way, Brad clarifies some of his theory with solid, practical examples. There is a lot in here that will probably bear more than one time through to digest it all.
