Some alerted me that they received the following download link from us this morning--but we did NOT send it.
Do NOT click on this link if you receive it! It's disguised as a wetransfer file, with their art. Looks authentic.

sent you some files
‘You owe the guys now. How about a decent quality vid of you doing the dice matrix?’

Re: Do NOT Download Any Files from "Genii"!
I've approached the people involved in terms of their email addresses.
As an item of SPAM it's interesting. If it's a malicious file (likely) then the package is sophisticated and tailored but the link is for a wetransfer file.
I'll update on anything that comes from this.

Richard/Paul,
The Magic Portal which has the same email address, is a mailing that comes out once a month from Jim Canaday. News, stories, links and the like. I can't imagine Jim sending this out and will try to get in touch with him.

And I just got this email today. Someone is spamming under Max Maven's name.
Other addressees (which I blacked out) included John Gaughan, Allen Okawa, and the Skirball museum. So they may have actually gotten into Max's address book somehow.

I got the spam/Max email as well.
It's also been done using my email address, but my computer is neat and clean.

I'm another unhappy recipient of the Max Maven Weight Loss Scam Spam.
