Magic Castle Happenings – The Good Stuff (December 2014)

Postby Dustin Stinett » December 1st, 2014, 8:51 pm

It’s Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas (or Hanukkah, the Winter Solstice, or Whatever Powers Your Sleigh)

On December 5, 10, 12, 17, and 19, Christmas Carolers will be at the club for your holiday enjoyment.

Santa Claus, his elves, and his (apparently mobile) workshop arrives for Kids’ Day at the Magic Castle Saturday the 6th, 11AM to 2PM. Brunch is not required. Brings the kids for ornament making, milk & cookies, and—of course—Santa. And he will be accepting new, unwrapped toys for Toys For Tots. All members and their families are welcome.

During Sunday Brunch on the 7th, 14th, and 21st, Santa and the Missus will be around as well (as will the Carolers).

Special Member Lunch Schedule

Besides the usual Fridays, the club will be open three extra days for Member Lunch in December: Thursday the 18th, Monday the 22nd, and Tuesday the 23rd.

As a vegan, I appreciate the obvious attention that has been given by Magic Castle staff to various dietary needs. However, parmesan is cheese and vegans don't eat cheese.

Hi Michael (and all concerned vegans),
I heard back from Jason Sperber, the Executive Chef at the Castle, and he assures me that the "cheese" (his quotes) used in all of his vegan dishes are soy based products.
