Wow, I just watched an episode (#9) featuring Tom Burgoon doing a chewed-and-restored toilet paper routine -- ick -- which required his audience volunteer to put toilet paper in her mouth and chew it. Double ick.

That was very disgusting and made me want to turn it off.

Did anyone watch last night's episode "Quick Change" on Masters of Illusion? If so, what did you think of Ed Alonzo's act?

I don't want to give it away in case you still plan on watching it. I was a little bothered by the first part, though, and was curious as to what others thought about it.

I agree with your assessment. I was more amused by the magically shrinking breasts of the woman doing the quick change act.

Last night's show - the "season" finale - was the first episode that gave the TV audience a chance to get to know the performers better than previous shows.

---Spoiler Alert---

Ed Alonzo - who I usually enjoy - had a piece that was a bit, well, cringe-inducing, and we could see that in the audience's reactions.
However, the Dekolta chair vanish using a wheelchair was fitting and magical. (But the set-up gag did not work for me.)

The routine was published in Genii (February 2004). [although on page 57, he (Tom Burgoon via Timmy Toilet Paper) states: "We decided that at least we should get credit for our ideas. It certainly doesn't mean that we want anyone else doing our act. How about a little professional courtesy!"]
