And now ... what happens to the only surviving print of Houdini's The Grim Game?

Wow. I do not usually comment on death notices, but -- wow.
A remarkable link to the past. I met Larry in 1964. He sold me a plastic tray for 25¢, which was my introduction to Equivoque. Best quarter I ever spent.

Re: Sad to report that Larry Weeks passed away
Just seeing the name Larry Weeks brings back a flood of memories from my young days discovering that the world of magic. As teenagers we would take the subway down to the McBurney YMCA on West 14th street for his one day conventions. What wonderful things were there: Old, yellowed books full of secrets, gaudy painted props from the vaudeville days, and - most exciting of all - some of the names you knew from magic books and magazines, standing in front of you as real people. So thanks, Larry, for bringing the world of magic to us kids.

Obviously, I'm eager to know if The Grim Game print is safe and will be made available for study, if even just a single screening.

Weeks left no will and made no provisions for his death, to the best of my knowledge, so everything is a mess and it will be a long time until it's all sorted out.
