Guy's Expert at the Card Table show is excellent - I've been fortunate to see it twice.
It would be a good addition to the Genii Convention programme in my view.

Was this a Pre-Order Release?

My admiration for Guy knows no bounds, but we had him at the Genii Bash, and he had previously done his Erdnase show at MAGIC Live. Perhaps, in another few years, we'll invite him to do it if he has time, and is willing. His legal practice keeps him very busy.

"Guy's practice encompasses both contentious and non-contentious situations"
He's always struck me as a non-contentious sort of person.

Is there any reason why Reformation can't be done with other objects that can be folded in quarters. I'm assuming cards are used because they are Guy's performance preference. For example, couldn't a postcard make use of the same methodology?

A postcard would be far too large. I don't think the item could be larger than a playing card.

There is also a brief moment or two where the camouflage created by the "busy" design of a court card comes into play. This may be worked around I suppose, and something else with a busy design could be used, but it's already tough enough—especially the last sequence.
