Wayne Houchin is on an extensive lecture tour (about 30 cities) of the U.S. When he came through Houston, we set aside some time to talk about his TV show on Discovery ("Breaking Magic: The Magic of Science") as well as how different it is to perform magic for people who are being filmed versus those in a live audience without the camera.
But the bulk of this podcast is about his brush with disaster that could have been a lot worse...the "fire blessing" he suffered on live TV in the Dominican Republic. He talks about how surreal it was, his hospitalization, and the lawsuit.
