Bad news, the "US version" is the "UK version" with a bit of editing to make the pilot fit into an hour time slot.

If you guys get to watch the UK version of the show - watch out for the moment when Penn and Teller are fooled by Simon Aronson's 'UNDO PRINCIPLE'.
Aronson's 'UNDO PRINCIPLE' is the strongest mathematical effect there is for doing powerful magic. Which is often not the case when it comes to relying on a mathematical principle.
Anyway - it was funny seeing P&T fooled by it - since it is a principle which has gotten a lot of attention over the past 12 years. And I imagine P&T are one of the few magicians not to be familiar with it!
