I spoke with Simon Lovell a couple days before he left for England; however, the quality of the phone on his end was horrible, so it will require you to pay close attention to hear what he has to say. But basically, it sounds like a version of "Shutter Island", according to Simon. At least he has retained his sense of humor during all of this.

Back in Houston, I visited with Joanie Spina who is living in Houston while awaiting her organ transplant. She is staying at the home of Daniel Summers. While I was there, Walter Blaney was there, too, and he had some interesting stories to share about Joanie and Copperfield.
