Conjuring Arts is very excited to finally release it's exclusive translation of a book that we believe was written by one of J. N. Hofzinser's students. Ein Spiel Karten is an extremely rare book published by "R. P." in Prague in 1853. It is one of the first books with detailed descriptions of sleight of hand with playing cards and the very first book of advanced card magic ever published.

This exclusive translation into English was prepared especially for presentation at Juan Tamariz's Jornadas conference held in 2005 in El Escorial Spain.

The translation includes the excellent clear illustrations from the original and will allow you to learn many of the moves and tricks that Hofzinser's student taught in 1853.

I recall last year talk about an English translation of Hofzinser's card material to be published by Conjuring Arts and Hermetic Press conjunctly.
Will that be this year?

The two Hofzinser books from Hermetic should be out by the end of the year. I think.
