There ARE actual books on how to REALLY physically disappear (off the gird). To wit: How to Disappear: Erase Your Digital Footprint, Leave False Trails, and Vanish without a Trace [Hardcover]

This is why I love words: they can mean something different even when they have the same definition. Remember, after all, that the magician Eisenheim and the Duchess von Teschen “disappear” (perform a “vanishment”) at the end of the movie. Just not the kind magicians think of when the word "disappear" is used.
