Thanks Richard for posting this link. David first joined the SAM years ago with us in Hartford, CT. We all have had a great friendship with David since then. We are also very proud of all he has accomplished.

This fundraiser is our way of saying how much David has meant to all magicians and our way of helping him, who has helped so many during his career.

We've only been asking for a minimun of $5 and the support so far has been outstanding, some people donating above and beyond what we have expected. But David's medical bills will be very high and that's why we've set up this web site.

I want to thank everyone that has and will help a fellow magician and friend in his time of trouble.

Thanks again

Sincerly,
Steve Wronker

Lets Do Magic for David Oliver! Mike Bent, Lyn Dillies, Eric DeCamps, Joe Howard, Steve Kradolfer, Peter Samelson, and probably many more, are coming together, for the first time in one very special show, to help Boston-area magician, and their dear friend, David Oliver. More than just a talented magician, for more than 25 years, David Oliver has mentored, directed and taught many of todays finest young magicians from around the globe. Recently, he was diagnosed with a rare lung disease, and the only treatment is a double lung transplant. In an effort to assist their friend in dealing with mounting medical bills, these stars of magic have put together this show, to help a friend who has always been there to help them. Please join us in giving back some magic. The shows are January 19th, 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. at Clark University, Worcester, Massachusetts in the Daniels Theater. For information call 203-877-0157 or go to letsdomagic.org for info or to purchase tickets. If you cant attend, you can still purchase tickets ($20) and have them donated to a local childrens group so they can go to the show. Just check the link For Donation.

Dear Friend in Magic,
You probably already know about the fund raising efforts to help David Oliver in his quest for a double lung transplant. David is waging a courageous battle and is at a crossroad in his treatment.
As a part in the ongoing attempt to come to David's aid, the team headed by Lyn Dillies and Bill Hoagland is organizing a program booklet to further elevate the amount of money being sought for David's treatment and recovery. This program will be published and presented in conjunction with the gala event "Let's DO Magic" to be held at Clark University's Daniels Theater, 950 Main St. Worcester, MA, on Saturday January 19th 2013. Performances commence at 2:00PM and 7:30PM.
As this, I ask you personally to support this cause by placing an advertisement in the program booklet.
All funds will go DIRECTLY TO DAVID, as all involved are donating their time and expense.
Rates for advertisement are as follows:
Full back cover $600.00
Inside front cover $400.00
Inside back cover $400.00
Full page $200.00
Half Page $100.00
Quarter page $50.00
Well Wisher listing $25.00
Payment can be made by check or money order and should be made payable to David Oliver.
To place your ad, please send payment and ad copy to Bob Riordan 6 Belmont Terrace Derry, NH 03038. For convenience, the best way to place your ad is by sending it electronically to bobriordan@comcast.net
Closing date for your kindness to be included in the program is Tuesday January 8th 2013. This date will be here before we know it, so please don't delay!
Should you wish to make your payment electronically, you may do so via the web site. Please notify me as to your payment so your inclusion in the program booklet is guaranteed.
Donations not accompanying an advertisement are also welcome.
Please show your generosity toward David as it's not an ad you're placing, but rather a life you're helping to save.
Further information can be found at

or by calling (203)877-0157.
Please feel free to forward this notice to all who you think would want to help this most worthy cause.
Most sincerely yours,
Bob Riordan
