Criss Angel Accepts Morgan Strebler's Challenge

The Mindfreak Criss Angel Accepts Challenge of Vegas Mentalist, Morgan Strebler

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release) - Sep 20, 2012 -
Criss Angel Accepts Morgan Streblers Challenge
Event Scheduled to be on New Years Eve

Ladies and Gentlemen, the games have officially begun. According to sources very knowledgeable with both sides, The Mindfreak, Criss Angel will accept foe magician, Morgan Streblers live magic challenge. In what has been a social media filled war, the fans of both conjurors will get to see two of magics biggest names square off 1 on 1 on New Years Eve. Within the last 24 hours, Twitter has been flooding with celebratory tweets such as:
BIG NEWS! @CrissAngel will accept @MorganStrebler challenge! New Years Eve! I cant believe it!
Morgan Strebler, known for his ability to perform various telekinetic magic effects was coined as The Man Criss Angel Fears by Street Magic Magazine. It was in reference to his first magic challenge to Criss Angel nearly 5 years ago.
According to Strebler, the challenge will feature edurance test such as, Chinese Water Torture. More went on to reveal:
"Criss looks good when he performs in a controlled environment with multiple camera angles and creative editing. Lets see how well he does with head-to-head magic on a live stage, in the street, and strapped to a table for 24/7 Chinese water torture until one of us breaks. It will be done with just one camera, no split screens & both of us in full view at all times!"
Angel, known for his charistmatic levitations and magic tricks known as Mindfreaks had previously shot down the idea of Streblers challenge. With Morgans latest Youtube video and his Facebook page, The Official Page of the UNloyals, a page dedicated to mocking Angels group of fans, seemingly has caused quite a stir with the Mindfreak.

Agreed. Another way for magicians to look foolish in the public eye.

Why am I getting a WrestleMania type vibe from this? I guess something had to cosmically balance out the Helder & Derek show....

Would be amusing if the press release was issued by a disgruntled employee, without C.A's knowledge.

Thriller in Manilla
Rumble in the Jungle
Hissy fit in Vegas.

Doesn't quite have that memorable ring to it, does it?

Challenge update: I have challenged Matt Field to perform his full-evening, 37-phase Oil-And_Water routine without the use of a net and he has accepted provided he picks the weapons and we are separated by forty paces. This will occur at the Geniicon.

May the best man (that's me) win.

When and where are you performing your 24-hour 10-card poker deal marathon? Not to be missed!

Listen, Farmer. This time it's for real.

We'll be doing this underwater in the Florida Hotel and Conference Center (the main convention hotel) swimming pool. No sissy scuba gear or snorkels. Bathing suits optional.

See if you can Bammo your way out of this one.

I've got Racherbaumer on my side.

O sweet Spaghetti Monster on high! Yes!!

At 2 hours per disc, that could be handily documented on a 36-disc DVD set to accompany your book.

Matt Field: I laugh heartily at such challenges. They amuse myself. I am laughing and amusing now. Do not think yourself more importantly because my Engleesh not good, and you speak good -- I now add Criss Angel to game of challenge -- bring all on. I am Cardicus.

Cardicus?! You mean Half-Ass-ed-us. If you think Turnantula will make me cower, think again. I can bring you to your knees with Bammo Dekronomicon.

Then I will bring you to tears with several Paul Gordon and Ian Adair effects.

Your shame will be all over YouTube.

Which cuisine will reign supreme??

I'm leaving for the airport now (private jet, of course) and heading to Florida, a steely determination forged in my soul, a sword of retribution to slay the dragon Field and the demon Angel and crown me king.

Humbly,

King Farmer

Now there's an oxymoronic statement: "Humbly, King Farmer."

I have arrived at the Geniicon hotel and begun my mental preparations for the coming challenge. Sure, I'm a few days early, but a regimen of fasting, meditation and imbibing the healing waters of the Tiki Tiki Bar on the 37th floor requires time, lots of time.

Pardon me for a moment --

"Serving wench! Another flagon of ale!"

I myself have arrived in Genii Land and will be spending the next few days in my secret Haines City lair as I acclimatise to the phenomenon known here as Sun Shine, a meteorological event referred to only fleetingly in ancient texts in my home land.

Mrs AJM has already commenced endurance training for a 3 day shopping marathon at the Mall they call Florida.....my modest bag of monies trembles at the prospect.

So far, everything that could have gone wrong today has, ranging from an emergency dentist appointment to my computer pretty much blowing up before I got all the critical info off it...

The afternoon has been spent in damage limitation mode, and I'm almost ready. I just hope that the Farmer/Field synchronised swimming malarkey won't interrupt my morning dip...

See you all tomorrow...
