We've Just Booked Juan Tamariz for the Genii Convention!

I'm so damn excited that I couldn't wait to share the news: just moments ago Juan Tamariz sent me an email agreeing to perform at Genii's 75th Anniversary Birthday Bash.

Juan will work on Friday evening, performing a one-hour close-up show followed by a 90-minute lecture.

Ohhhhh Richard you are tempting me very much. My idea is to attend in July to SAM convention in my first USA trip .... but the Genii Bash lineup is simply irressitible. very very tempting.
Pendragon says he would've cross the country to see Tamariz .... maybe I HAVE to cross the Gulf to see all this marvelous magicians.

Considering the stress of putting on a convention, I can't see myself doing this often, if ever again. That's not to say I won't change my mind in five years, but at the moment we're pouring everything we can into this one Genii convention in terms of who we're hiring and all the stuff we're giving away.
