I tried to contact the Castle member services regarding this, but didn't get an answer (yet), so I'd thought I'd ask those of you who are members.
I received the handsome new Castle member card last year, but didn't receive one for my spouse, as I did when the card was redesigned before.
Are they still issuing associate cards to spouses of magician members?

I had no idea they issue cards for spouses of magician members. If so, where is mine? :)

Cindy has always had a card and I think she got her new one not long after I got mine (she's not home right now for me to check on that).

Re: Magic Castle Spouse membership cards
I heard from another person by PM (thank you, S! -- couldn't reply via PM) that confirms this: spouses of magician members are supposed to receive the cards.
I guess I'll try the AMA member services again.
Does anyone know if they are back up to speed yet after the fire? (I had trouble getting an email through)

Maybe it doesn't apply to Life Members like me ... or perhaps I've just never asked!

Ask: I'm fairly sure Liz should have a card.

Yes, your wife gets one, even if her name were other than Liz. No, the new cards aren't "handsome."

Re: Magic Castle Spouse membership cards
If you have your spouse listed on your membership, then he or she gets a card as well (associate, not magician, unless they qualify in their own right). The last of the new cards were sent out several months ago, so if your spouse (or you) is missing one, then contact Trish Alaskey in Member Services.

Many thanks for the information, everyone!
Re: Magic Castle Spouse membership cards
Richard, when dad got his life membership,
they offered one for a spouse...but since my
mom passed away, I asked Trish if they could
offer one for me, since anywhere my dad goes
I go.
So I have an Associates card.
It took about 2-3 weeks when they did the
redesign for me to get mine.
Also anyone with a life membership can
pass on their membership to whomever they want
when they pass.

Not quite true Mai-Ling. They can pass it one time, down to a son or daughter.

It does not have to be a son or daughter. I know one person who gave it to their cousin, and another to their brother. But it is true that it may only be passed once that person cannot pass it on again.
