David Alexander's wife, Penny, was very pleased to learn that her late husband, was noted and remembered in the, "In Memorium" segment of the program.

I totally forgot to have dad vote this year.
it would have been nice since getting his honor.
i will make sure for it next year though.

i heard she is the first woman to win the close-up

The show started.
Awards were handed out and speeches were made (but there is no truth to the rumor that Bob Fitch is still speaking--from his 2008 award).
Some acts performed.
The show ended.

Yep, and the first nominated as well.
When her name was announced as Close-up Magician of the Year, the roar of approval from the crowd was deafening.
