Some amateur magician walking around with photocopied bills in his wallet tried to pay a hotel bill with them late at night while drunk.

How many costly gaffs have magicians spent over the years?

Years ago I left a folding half on the nightstand in my hotel room. When I returned, it was gone. No doubt the maid simply pocketed it; after all, it was just a coin. I cannot help but wonder if it was successfully spent (or rolledthis was back in the day when halves were more common) and how long it stayed in circulation before the rubber band broke.

One article about this guy said that burning up phony money was his specialty...Too bad he has to give it up. I wonder what he'll do for his specialty now?
