Anne Frances has died at age 80.
Damn. Was just watching Honey West a few months ago.

Completed forgot about her until you posted... thanks! I enjoy her acting but couldn't remember her in movie. I've seen her on TV long ago. Prayer goes to her family.

There's a quote attributed to G.K. Chesterton:
Journalism largely consists in saying "Lord Jones is dead" to people who never knew Lord Jones was alive.

For the record, I can think of only two 'hollywood greats' that are still alive: sisters
Joan Fontaine and Olivia de Havilland.
I assumed they had passed away many years ago.

Maybe I should add Mickey Rooney to this dwindling list?

. . . there are many more; those are just off the top of my head (the vault of useless information).

Impressive list, Bill.
I could have sworn half of these 'immortals' were already pushing up daisies

By the way, I loved Ethel Merman's heart-warming account of her marriage to Borgnine. A deliberate blank page in her memoirs.

And in a legendary interview she came up with the best retaliatory put-down of her ex-husband. Alas, it's too crude for this forum.

At the Beverly Garland Hotel in Studio City, I saw Anne Frances just a few years ago on a panel of actors who appeared on "The Twilight Zone." While 70+ years then, she looked wonderful, appearing decades younger and healthier than her co-Zone alumni.
